I am Justin Verstijnen and I live in the Netherlands and am 26 years old. My interest in computers started around the age of 8 and have never been less.

My IT and Cloud story

My interest in computers started because of my dad who had a computer company for around 15 years where he helped around 200 individuals with their computer problems, migrating to new computers, selling new computers/laptops and helping them with using them, perodic cleaning and more. At first I only watched him do the magic, but later I helped him very often and this way I learned a lot about computers, possible problems and some basic knowledge of hardware. I knew very soon in my life that I wanted to do the same as my dad, but not what exactly. “Something with computers“.

In my free time I sometimes play some games, and I liked it to set up custom game servers for games. Here is where my interest in building systems and servers started, but realized that technical knowledge, security and planning is very important when designing systems. I knew then that only building and planning systems is fun to do and wanted to make my work out of it which it now is, already for several years.

After passing my IT Intermediate vocational education i started at my first IT job on the servicedesk. A few years later, the wishes to specialize on Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud solutions became higher, and I followed this wish. After some years of watching experience, and hands-on experience I started to achieve Microsoft Certifications and then the learning really started which has never stopped since.

In 2024, after achieving every Microsoft Certification I wanted, I started this website as a great way to shift into the next phase; gaining even more and deeper information and sharing practice this information. I really like to research a topic or technical part and then documenting what I did to make it work. It really pushes me to the limit when having to understand a solution, then configuring it correctly and then explaining this in a way that people without the knowledge must do the same within the first try. This is something I really like to do, as you can find a lot of examples on this page.
